1 1⁄2 oz Gin
1 1⁄2 oz Pimm's No. 1 Cup
1⁄2 oz Lemon juice
1⁄4 oz Elderflower cordial
1 t Cassis
Instructions

Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice; double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Notes

Fruity and floral, at once light and rich with flavor. A lovely summer sipper.

History

After using Belvoir Farms’ Elderflower Cordial to make an elderflower Pimm's Cup for a party, inspiration struck to use the same ingredients for a stronger, shaken cocktail. The small amount of crème de cassis proved to be the perfect ingredient to button everything up, and pairs with the elderflower terrifically. Elderflower liqueur may be used instead, but may require additional lemon juice or sugar to balance.
