V8 juice is a brand of vegetable juice made by the Campbell's Soup Company. V8 juice was invented in 1933, and is a blend of juices from tomatos, beets, carrots, celery, lettuce, parsley, watercress and spinach. In 2007, the amount of salt in V8 juice was lowered by 19%, qualifying V8 juice for "heart healthy" status.
V8 comes in regular and low sodium version of their original flavor and a spicy version. V8 juice also is available in a high fiber formula. V8 juice is a reddish-orange color and tastes mainly of tomatoes, but it also has a savory-sweet flavor.
