I was introduced to Negronis by a friend who informed me they were so easy to make a drunk monkey could do it.  As a Manhattan fan, I already had the vermouth; as a G&T fan, I had some gin.  After acquiring some Campari, I was then on my way to exploring many other gin and rye cocktails.  Which led me to YouTube Channels How2Drink, Steve The Bartender, and The Educated Barfly, among others.  Learning that I much prefer amaro-forward cocktails.
