Preheat the over to 375 degrees. Put the apples in a small roasting pan and sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over them. Bake for about 35 minutes, until tender but still firm. | Whisk together the ginger beer and cider in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Warm the mixture, but don't allow it to boil. | To serve, place an apple in each of 6 heatproof glass beer mugs, ladle in the wassail, and serve garnished with a dusting of nutmeg.
