1 oz Ancho Reyes Verde chile liqueur
3⁄4 oz Herbal liqueur, Green Chartreuse
3⁄4 oz Lime juice
1 sli Lime (garnish)
Instructions

Shake all ingredients with ice for 15 seconds, strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Notes

Existential question--can something be a Last Word riff if it's not equal parts? Can't answer that one, but these ratios work better than equal parts.

History

Been experimenting with using Ancho Reyes (both variants) as a base spirit

Meh, "equal parts" cocktails are rarely best with actually-equal parts, IMO. e.g.: the best Last Word and Negroni recipes I've ever tried aren't equal parts.

Deliciousness always beats purity, and this one is delicious!

Proportions just right! I personally would lessen the Luxardo just because I like it less sweet.
