3 oz Rompope (Homemade if possible)
1⁄2 oz Dark rum
1⁄3 oz Sweet vermouth, Noilly Prat
10 dr Triple sec, Cointreau
1 ? Nutmeg
Instructions
Mix in a mixing glass with ice, strain into old fashioned glass wit large ice cube. Garnish with fresh-grated nutmeg.
History
Rompope is a traditional egg and milk-based drink, invented by nuns in Central Mexico in the 17th Century. It is mostly consumed around Christmas, and often given to children in small quantities, given its low ABV.
