Smoky Jose

1 1⁄2 oz Tequila
1⁄2 oz Mezcal
1⁄2 oz Herbal liqueur, Yellow Chartreuse
1⁄2 oz Aperol
3⁄4 oz Lime juice
1 pn Salt (on rim)
Instructions

Combine all ingredients over ice. Shake and strain in a salt-rimmed coupe.

Adjust ratio of Tequila:Mezcal to suit taste toward more or less smoky.

Note that this is essentially a variation of the "Naked & Famous" recipe, but with a bunch of tequila added, while dialing back the mezcal/Aperol/Yellow Chartreuse slightly.
