1⁄4 c Cucumber (chopped)
2 lf Mint
1⁄4 oz Simple syrup
2 oz Averna
1⁄2 oz Gin, Death's Door
1⁄4 oz Lime juice
3 oz Club soda
1 spg Mint (garnish)
1 sli Cucumber (garnish)
Instructions
In a shaker, muddle the mint, cucumber and simple syrup. Add the Averna, gin and lime juice, and fill with ice. Shake well and double strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda, stir gently, and garnish with a mint sprig and cucumber wheel.

I think this cocktail may have been Suzanne Taliericio's entry to the 2008 Averna Cocktail Contest. She is in the picture here of the finalists.
