Better with botanical gin
Not a big fan of Martinis, per se, even though gin is one of my favorite bases (along with bourbon,, vodka, Scotch, and rye. The dryness probably. But this one is great. Used Sipsmith gin. Rate 4.0
Used the Walter Navy Strength, reduced St Germain to 1/3, added lemon twist. Great floral martini.
Excellent riff on the martini - the dryness offset by the elderflower; can adjust as necessary. The creme de violette is supposed to give some color, but is very faint.
