1 3⁄4 oz Japanese Whisky, Yamazaki 12
3⁄4 oz Bonal Gentiane Quina
1⁄4 oz Cassis
3⁄4 oz Porter beer
2 Blackberry
3 ds Black pepper (3 grinds)
Instructions

Muddle blackberries and pepper, shake, double strain, up, garnish with another blackberry.

  • It's rare that I have a drink that I feel takes me in a totally new direction. With the beer bitterness, fruitiness, and spice from pepper, this one really did.
