St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
©2011 Kindred Cocktails

Elderflower liqueur is a liqueur made by macerating the flowers of the European Black Elder (Sambucus nigra) in alcohol. Elderflower liqueur smells like litchi and flowering fields (green, floral, polleny), and has a strong musky component.

[ingredient=st-germain St. Germain] (pictured) is the most common brand of elderflower liqueur.
