Montenegro is a type of [ingredient=amaro amaro] made in Bologna, Italy. It was invented in 1885 by Stanislao Cobianchi, and named to honor Princess Helena of Montenegro. It is a blend of over 40 herbs and spices, and is bottled at 46 proof.
