1 1⁄2 oz Orgeat
1 oz Lime juice
3⁄4 oz Mezcal, Iba Orange
3⁄4 oz Luxardo Fernet
2 ds Bitters, Angostura Orange
Instructions
Shake all vigorously, particularly if using home-made orgeat. Double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora
Notes
Velvety, bitter-sweet, earthy yet balanced and surprisingly light. Opt for a rounder and a more welcoming Fernet than the go-to Branca. Iba Orange has strong orange notes so do not substitute with just any other Mezcal.
