1 1⁄2 oz Gin (Botanist 22)
1 oz Cynar 70
3⁄4 oz Cherry Liqueur, Sangue Morlacco
1⁄4 oz Simple syrup (Cilantro)
Instructions

Shake with ice and strain into a frozen coupe glass.

Notes

1) The simple syrup is homemade to the "standard" recipe.
2) Some water in a saucepan, lots of baker's sugar in the mix ...... brought to a boil. Lots of fresh cilantro tossed in and stirred vigorously. Then 1 hour of low simmer. Let cool.
3) Use a strainer. Pour the syrup into a bottle.
4) Store the syrup in the refrigerator.

History

Ode to The Coronado Bridge connecting San Diego (mainland) to Coronado Island. I just saw a picture of the bridge under construction in 1968.

I first began traveling over that bridge in 1972.
