1⁄2 oz Cognac
3⁄4 oz Lime juice
3⁄4 oz Cinnamon syrup (see below)
1 wdg Lime (as garnish)
Instructions
Shake, strain, straight up, coupe, garnish.
Notes
Cinnamon Syrup is 1c sugar, 1c water, 4 broken cinnamon sticks, simmered for 8-10 minutes. Keeps 2 weeks refrigerated. Named after Boukman Dutty, Haitian revolutionary, 1791.
