Cold Spring Cocktail

1 1⁄2 oz Cognac
3⁄4 oz Meyer lemon juice
3⁄4 oz Maple syrup
1 twst Meyer lemon peel (as garnish)
Instructions

Shake; strain; up; garnish.

Notes

Cranberry bitters are a possible substitution.

    Presumably the 7yr as that is the only one I have ever come across. It is the basic Old Monk. Unless stated otherwise in a recipe, assume this is the one.
