History

In the Middle Ages the Longbards conquered a duchy in Southern Italy, including the city of Benevento and part of the Campania coast; from the first comes the "Strega" liqueur, from the second the"Limoncello". Swedish vodka alludes to the mythical Scandinavian origins of the Longbards. And Campari ... Well Milan was an important Longobard city ...
