2 oz Mezcal
1⁄2 oz Suze
1⁄2 oz Agave syrup
1⁄2 oz Lime juice
1 twst Lime peel (as garnish)
Instructions

Add all liquids to an ice-filled mixing glass and stir for at least 30 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish

  • Made a variation with what I had on hand; tequila instead of mezcal, simple syrup instead of Agave and doubled the amount of Gentiane (Salers)
  • Substituted size with compare. A little too sweet, but on the right track
