1⁄4 oz Bénédictine
1⁄4 oz Coffee liqueur, Mr. Black
1 twst Orange peel
Instructions

Stir, strain, and serve up with an orange peel.

Notes

A bitter start gives way to an herbal coffee sweetness with a hint of orange.

I recommend using a 90-proof bourbon, e.g. Russell's Reserve 10 year is a good substitution. Try adding an additional 1/4 oz of Mr. Black if it's not sweet enough for you; to spec, I find the drink's sweetness to be between my go-to Old Fashioned and Manhattan, which hits the spot for me.
