Grounds for Separation

2 oz Bourbon
1⁄2 oz Aperol
1⁄2 oz Averna
1⁄2 oz Sweet vermouth, Carpano Punt e Mes
1 ds Bitters, Angostura
Instructions

Build all ingredients in a mixing glass; stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass or coupe. No garnish.

Notes

This is a take on the Grounds for Divorce; it is slightly less bitter.
