1 3⁄4 oz Blended rum (see note)
1⁄2 oz Oloroso sherry
1⁄2 oz Ginger syrup
1⁄4 oz Demerara syrup (1:1)
1⁄2 oz Lime juice
2 ds Pimento bitters
1 oz Ginger beer (or ginger-molasses switchel)
Instructions
Shake, strain over one big rock, topping with ginger beer, and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg dusted on a lime wheel.
Notes
House black rum blend is two parts Barbancourt 8 (or another light-bodied well-aged rum) to one part each Smith & Cross and Cruzan blackstrap.
