Instructions
Muddle thyme leaves in a shaker tin with lemon juice and syrup. Add eau de vie, shake with ice. Double strain in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a pear slice and thyme sprig.
Notes
Tested with homemade cinnamon-infused simple syrup, not too sweet (equal parts of sugar and water). Add more juice if a syrup is very sweet.
Use fresh thyme only.
Plain vodka will work here too but with less effect.
