1 oz Gin
1 oz Aperol
1 oz Lemon juice
1⁄2 oz Simple syrup (preferably turbinado)
8 lf Mint
1 spg Mint (as garnish)
Shake; double-strain; up.
I used demerara syrup and basil in place of mint. Very different drink, but still good.
The original Smitten is the same recipe using Campari instead of Aperol.
