1 1⁄2 oz Averna
1 1⁄4 oz Cognac
3⁄4 oz Orange liqueur, Grand Marnier
3 ds Peychaud's Bitters (peychaud’s bitters)
1 Lemon peel
Instructions

Stir in ice for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Add peel.

  • A bit sweet and unctuous, but quite good. A very nice drink if someone wants a rich/warm/strong drink that still is quite sweet. I would probably dilute for even longer.
  • On the sweet side... the other ingredients really mesh well with the Averna.
  • Perfect.
