Good balance, sweet, but not too much. — ★★★★
Perfectly refreshing summer drink! Used 3/4 oz St Germain. Also good with a couple of peppercorns as suggested in another comment (I used white pepper).
Wow! Beautiful and completely delicious. Refreshing and surprisingly complex.5
Good, boozy/balanced drink. I agree, could cut back the St. Germain. Also could be interesting to try muddling with a few pepper grounds to balance out the sweetness. Made with Sutler's small batch gin.
Use 3/4 oz St. Germain for less sweet
Delicious, but a little bit on the sweet side, maybe try with 3/4 oz St Germain
Made with Plymouth gin, try with higher proof gin like Tanqueray Ten — ★★★★★

4.5/5, rounding up. I mostly skip elderflower (and cynar) drinks as being overdone/overused. But in this case the elderflower brings out the best of the fresh strawberry, balanced by the lemon juice. The strawberry is amped up in a pleasant way which the Junipero stands up to. The elderflower is there but does not dominate. Lovely color, nose, and flavor.
