Black Tea Crusta In The Rye

2 oz Rye
1⁄2 oz Orange Curaçao
1⁄2 oz Lemon juice
1⁄2 oz Simple syrup (black tea infused simple syrup)
2 ds Orange bitters (used 1ds Fee & 1ds Regans)
Instructions

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a chilled sugar-rimmed coupe glass and garnish with an expressed orange peel.

A riff off of a riff of the classic Brandy Crusta.

A riff of the Brandy Crusta invented by an Italian bartender named Joseph Santini in New Orleans. 1850's
