3⁄4 oz Suze
3⁄4 oz Lemon juice
1 pn Salt
1 twst Lemon peel
Instructions

Shake with ice. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Twist, rim & drop lemon peel. Raise a toast to Mayan calendar-making skills.

  • It's hard to not read this next to the Last Word: Suze is more bitter, but less complex and herbal, than Chartreuse. The lemon is also simpler than lime. The result is that the maraschino comes through too forcefully IMHO. — ★★★
