1 1⁄2 oz Blanco tequila (Patron Silver)
1 oz Centerbe (Faccia Brutto)
1⁄2 oz Ancho Reyes chile liqueur
Instructions

Stir ingredients with ice, strain into chilled Nick & Nora or coupe. (No garnish planned, although a lime zest or herb sprig could be good options.)

Notes

Patron's gentle agave provides the background tying the Centerbe and Ancho Reyes together. Savory dried ancho flavor and heat complement the vegetal cooking herbs of the Centerbe, while the blanc vermouth provides mild sweetness.

The result is a clear light yellow/green cocktail.

History

The name is a nod to the chile liqueur's origin in historic Puebla de Zaragoza, the latter's martial victory there over the French (represented by the blanc vermouth), and the Italian tradition of Centerbe, "100 herb" liqueur.
