1 oz Grapefruit Vodka
1 oz Aperol
1 oz Egg white
Instructions

Shake everything except rose water in dry cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake, shake, shake, shake. Pour into cocktail glass. Drizzle with rose water.

History

This is a riff on Rimbaud's Left Hand which I and no one else I know loves. I replaced the absinthe and benedictine with grapefruit vodka and parfait amour.

Jenn,

With 6 ounces pre-shake volume, is this 2 drinks?

Thanks,

Zachary

I weigh the squeezed lime and measure the rest based on that - 1:1:1.... (that ratio is a secondary reason for my love of Rimbaud's Left Hand). But ya, that 6 oz. only has 1 oz of actual liquor and 2 oz. of not that alcoholic liqueur, so totally appropriate for a single drink. It does fill my healthy sized martini glass though. Split in two if necessity calls for it. 1:1:1...
