War Cobra

1 oz Bourbon
1 oz Reposado Tequila
1⁄2 oz Triple sec, Cointreau
1⁄2 oz Demerara syrup
1⁄2 oz Lemon juice
2 ds Cardamom bitters
1 rinse Absinthe (or Herbsaint)
Instructions

Rinse a rocks glass with the absinthe/herbsaint. Shake ingredients and strain into glass over a large cube.

History

I was challenged to make a cocktail for the Secret Cabal board game podcast. Their symbol/mascot is the War Cobra, so I did a mash up of a Man o' War and a Cobra Clutch.
