3⁄4 oz Bourbon
1⁄4 oz Cynar 70

Notes

The sweetness of the bourbon and the sherry notes of the brandy prevent the charred qualities of the Cynar 70 from dominating this high-octane drink.

Definitely high octane. Needs something to give it better mouthfeel and smooth it out - I tried gomme syrup, but that's not it. And I don't think the lemon garnish does it any favours.
