Instructions

Stir first four ingredients, then strain onto a big rock in a pimento-dram-rinsed rocks glass; garnish.

I made this using an apple and cardamom infused applejack and an 86-proof whiskey—it turned out delicious, but my specs threw the sweetness off. I added an extra half ounce of rye, and I love it.
