  • very earthy and fairly strong but still rather tasty
  • All around good cocktail with bitterness, depth and satisfying finish. Similar to Negroni in overall profile, which is a compliment. — ★★★★
  • 4.5: Nice combination - bitterness grows nicely/gradually from sweetness after a sip. I used just shy of an oz of Sibilia and just proud of 1/2 oz of Cherry Heering per suggestion.
  • Tart — ★★★★★
  • Delicious. Similar to a Red Hook. Try 1 oz Sibilia and 1/2 Cherry Heering. — ★★★★
  • Used a portuguese cherry brandy I had and worked well.

Agree with the 1 oz Sibilla and 1/2 Cherry Heering. The overall profile is similar to a Negroni (complex bitterness with satisfying finish), which is a compliment

Excellent, but quite potent. The equal parts Heering and Sibilla complement one another well. This is a great vehicle for appreciating Sibilla. I didn't see the garnish (lemon twist-discarded?-and Luxardo cherry) until later so they were inadvertently omitted. I might serve this over a large rock next time to make it more of a slow sipper.
