1 oz Averna
1⁄2 oz Rye (Apple-influenced rye if possible; I used Lost Lantern Finger Lakes Pommeau finished Rye)
1⁄3 oz Dark Crème de Cacao, Tempus Fugit
1⁄8 oz Allspice Dram, St Elizabeth
1⁄8 oz Vanilla syrup (Scant)
2 ds Orange bitters
2 ds Chocolate bitters (Chocolate Hazelnut, if possible)
3 dr Salt Solution
Instructions

Stirred with ice; strain into a frozen coupe glass

Notes

Like a grown-up spiced dark chocolate Manhattan that is perfect for fall.
