1 oz Bourbon
1⁄2 oz Aromatized wine, Cocchi Americano (Kina l'Aero d'Or works even better)
1 twst Lemon peel (as garnish)
Instructions

Stir with ice. Strain into an old fashioned glass over ice, garnish with lemon twist.

Notes

Excellent drink where everything pulls together. I used Bulleit Bourbon and tried first with Kina l'Aero d'Or since Cocchi Americano sometimes provides more cinnamon character than I desire. My wife and I rated the Kina version a full 5/5.. Remade with Cocchi and we both agreed it was still very good, but more of a 4.5/5.

  • Pretty good, on the sweet side. Made with Elijah Craig. Also, my lemon peel was weak. Might benefit from stiffer Bourbon, maybe Rye? Or drop Nonino to 3/4? — ★★★★
