El Dorado de Pizarro

Agave and amaro
2 oz Sotol, Hacienda del Sotol Plata
1 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz Lime juice
1 t Averna
2 ds Bitters, Bittermens Xocolatl Mole
1 pn Salt (Very small pinch!)
Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with a lime wedge.
Created and paired with the arrival of the fall weather. Named for the legendary city of gold and the conquistador who never found it. Published in Gaz Regan's 2011 Annual Manual for Bartenders.
