Only dark spirit I had was Laird's and it was really good. I should have used a more bitter vermouth instead of Cocchi Dopo Teatro since I was using applejack, but still really good. Used PF Dry instead of Grand Marnier.

I only had triple sec; still very tasty. Bourbon + amaro + vermouth + citrus - what’s not to like?
