2 1⁄2 oz Rye
1⁄2 oz Applejack, Lairds
1⁄4 oz Cassis
1⁄4 oz Lemon juice
1⁄4 oz Allspice Dram
1 ds Orange bitters
Instructions

Shake all ingredients over ice in strainer. Pour into coupe glass. Express and orange peel over top and drop in as a twist.

Berry, citrus and spice.

History

The drink takes inspiration from wassailing, the holiday celebration to end winter and bring on a spring harvest.
