A boozy, earthy, improved whiskey cocktail.
2 oz Bourbon, Four Roses (Single Barrel 100 proof)
12 oz Falernum, Velvet Falernum
14 oz Campari
14 oz Fernet Branca
2 ds Chocolate bitters
1 twst Orange peel (garnish)
Stir with ice, strain into rocks glass over large ice cube. Garnish with orange peel.
This is my best guess at ratios, having only seen the ingredient list on the menu. Tastes pretty close to what I remember, though. Hearsay actually serves this drink up, but the recipe here makes for a bit larger portion and I prefer it over a large rock.
