1 1⁄2 oz Bourbon (wheated)
1⁄2 oz Oloroso sherry, La Bodega
1⁄2 oz Lemon juice
1⁄2 oz Ginger syrup
1⁄4 oz Demerara syrup (1:1)
Instructions
Shake, fine strain, serve on the rocks in a double rocks glass, garnish with a lemon peel and candied ginger.
Notes
A fairly dark, very stormy whiskey sour.
Very nice! The punch of the ginger pairs well with Larceny bourbon here, making for a full flavored Tiki sour without rum. I used Lustau Oloroso, and while the darker sherry notes are subtle due to the small quantity, they do add positively to the body.
