34 oz Pedro Ximénez Sherry
14 oz Falernum, Velvet Falernum
3 ds Bitters, Angostura
1 twst Orange peel (flamed as garnish)
Instructions
Stir, strain, coupe, garnish.
Notes
The mezcal vago elote has a thicker mouthfeel and more of a roasted corn note than many other mezcals. Avoid substitutes for this one.

  • Ok - I did not have this particular Mezcal, so subbed a Del Maguey, which may have a pretty different flavor profile. Mezcal dominated, and I felt like the best flavors of the rum were lost. — ☆☆☆
