Margarilla
Shake with ice; pour into a lowball glass with crushed ice and add a lime wheel
I made this originally with Jose Cuervo Black, but now that it's discontinued an oaky añejo will work as a substitute.
- I might sweeten it a bit with .25oz either syrup or Grand Marnier.
- Planchette — Cognac, Curaçao, Rye, Lemon juice, Orange juice, Cinnamon syrup
- Malcolm Lowry — Añejo tequila, Light rum, Triple sec, Lime juice
- Cotillion — Bourbon, Trinidad rum, Curaçao, Lemon juice, Orange juice, Orange peel
- Sidecar — Cognac, Triple sec, Lemon juice, Orange peel, Sugar
- Pony Express — Rye, White tea liqueur, Lemon juice, Grade B maple syrup, Lemon peel
This is sublime...one of the better margarita's I've had in some time. The Licor 43 brings out the best of all the ingredients.
Like a vanilla margarita, just a little on the sweet side though
