Treacle
Stir first 3 ingredients for 20 seconds, strain, rocks, old fashioned glass, float apple juice.
Treacle means, variously, molasses, golden syrup, something cloyingly sweet, or (!) a medicine formerly used as a poison antidote.
- Too sweet for my taste. Would need lemon, which would completely change the drink. — ★★

- Clare Island — Venezuelan rum, Sweet vermouth, Pear liqueur, Bitters, Orange peel
- Grass Widow — Rhum Agricole, Apricot liqueur, Apple brandy, Orange bitters, Orange
- Puerto Rican Racer — Puerto Rican Rum, Apple brandy, Herbal liqueur, Peychaud's Bitters, Grenadine
