Add ingredients into a shaker tin with a few small pieces of fresh ice. Whip shake and strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
Though Bugatti makes a faster car, this drink is meant to be enjoyed a little bit slower than the Ferrari.
A riff on the beloved Ferrari with a little French twist.
Stir with ice. Dirty dump it into a tumbler.
It took a while, but second success exploring:
• Split between two spirits
• Split between two liqueurs
• Split between two wine/vermouths
+ bitters helps balance.
Shake, strain, cocktail glass, top with champagne (if using), express peel then discard.
Topping with champagne recommended. If using, adjust amount accordingly based on personal taste.
Blend all ingredients, except soda water and coruba, for 4 seconds. Pour into tiki-appropriate glass. Stir in soda water. Float coruba on top.
This is from a very dedicated individual who put a great deal of effort into cracking the code of the famous Ray's Mistake of the hallowed Tiki Ti in Los Angeles. As he admits himself, this is probably not the true recipe, hence my changing of the name. (It's pretty cool that the Tiki Ti has kept the actual recipe a secret after all these years.) Nevertheless, the recipe this enthusiast concocted makes a damn good drink. Enjoy.
