1 1⁄4 oz Gin, Bluecoat Barrel-Aged
1 oz Bourbon, Evan Williams Bottled in Bond (date-infused; see Notes)
1 oz Apricot liqueur, Norseman
1 twst Lemon peel (as garnish)
Instructions

Stir; strain onto big rock; garnish.

Notes

To infuse whiskey, leave a few medjool dates in bourbon for a couple of weeks.

1 1⁄2 oz Mezcal, Del Maguey Vida

1 ds Cayenne pepper (or 1 dash habanero tincture)
Instructions

Add ingredients into a shaker, shake, and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a dusting of cayenne pepper over the top.

Notes

If available, you can add habanero tincture to the shaker. Still add cayenne over the top of the cocktail.

To better control how much cayenne comes out of the shaker, I would tape the holes closed, leaving only three open

History

The classic Corpse Reviver #2 remixed into a spring floral variation with sakura and salt. Created for a guest shift with Monkey 47, but Suntory Roku has also been a go-to gin with the addition of a grapefruit peel in the tin or a dash of Scrappy's Grapefruit bitters.
