Bloodstream
Muddle currants in shaker, add everything else, shake, strain, rocks. Garnish with sprig of currants.
The name of this cocktail is a translation from the latin words "Ribes sanguineum" which is the name for the red currants grown in North America.
- Barbadian Gin Punch Swizzle — Genever, Bitters, Coconut Water, Lime juice, Demerara syrup
- DragOclive — Gin, Junmai Sake, Cherry Liqueur, Amaro, Dragonfruit, Saffron tincture
- English Rain — Gin, Cucumber Vodka, Amaro Montenegro, Elderflower liqueur, Apricot liqueur, Bitters, Aloe vera liqueur
- Sauternes Corretto — Gin, Amaro Sibilla, Apricot liqueur, Tartaric acid powder, Milk, Pineapple
- Bengal Lancing — Gin, Cherry Liqueur, Herbal liqueur, Lemon bitters, Pomegranate juice
I used Del Maguey Vida and Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao. It was a very nice drink and different than I expected since all of the components seemed to mellow one another. The ancho did not come through as hot as it normally does, but the combination of everything with the grated nutmeg transformed the earthy smokiness into a mesquite flavor.
