2 oz Bourbon (High proof)
1⁄4 oz Dry vermouth
3⁄4 oz Lemon juice
3⁄4 oz Simple syrup (Turbinado)
1⁄4 Peach
3 ds Bitters, Bittercube Hop Bitters
Instructions

Muddle peach in a shaker tin. Add all ingredients and shake with ice. Double-strain into a coupe.

Notes

People who like fruity European beers might especially like this.

  • I’m not normally a massive fan of hops, but it’s not too aggressive of a flavor here. Four stars with hops. I’ve found that my favorite version of this is to swap out the hops for angostura. Five stars with angostura.

Atsby is an artisanal vermouth company, and Armadillo Cake is its dry alternative to Italian vermouth - herbal, piney, winey, complex. This is a Negroni variation, using Cynar instead of Campari, and Atsby in lieu of sweet vermouth. I feel it lacks a bass note, so recommendations are welcome.
