  • Only not a 5 cause I'm not the biggest shrub fan, and this is pretty sour thanks to the shrub. Still pretty darn tasty though.
  • An excellent and novel blend of flavors. My friends and I also enjoy it served in a Collins glass with a splash of soda.

  • Very sweet to my taste, but not inappropriate for a tropical drink - not sure this needs 3/4 oz of cane syrup with the pineapple juice providing sweetness as well. (Made with crushed ice.)

  • Made it with El Dorado 8. The rum is the star of the show—its brown sugar qualities are only enhanced by the caramel of the Cynar, but the vermouth lightens it quite a bit.

Revolution Anti-Hero is a popular local IPA in Chicago. Many IPAs can substitute, something with a balance between definite floral/sweet and hop-bitter: Lagunitas IPA comes to mind, or Dogfish Head 60-90 min come to mind.
