No Moon At All
Dry shake for 10 seconds. Add crushed ice and shake throughly. Strain into a coupe.
My variation on a Sweet Moonlight - guessing on the proportions of the original and replacing the cassis with Chambord.
- Used St George terrior gin (2.25 oz). Will use Fords gin (2.5 oz) next time because the creme liqueurs make the drink too sweet and overwhelm other flavors. As is, rate 3.0
- Just right.
- Made with Pisco. Em liked.
- Before Midnight — Gin, Crème Yvette, Crème de Cacao, Lemon juice, Egg white
- Gringa — Gin, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, Crème de Cacao, Bitters, Lemon juice, Egg white, Lemon peel, Candied ginger
- Blue Moon — Gin, Crème de Violette, Egg white, Lemon juice, Lemon peel
- Blood Sage — Gin, Lime juice, Simple syrup, Egg white, Blood orange, Sage
- Gin Sour — Gin, Blackstrap Bitters, Simple syrup, Lime juice, Egg white
A bit too bitter and not as fruity as I'd have expected, could probably do with a bit of syrup, or increase quantity of liqueurs. Tastes much better and sweeter if slowly sipped..
Made this with pisco rather than gin - quite good.
