Common Cold
Shake, strain, up in stemmed water glass, garnish on top.
This seems like a good cure for the common cold. Basically a rum forward floral daiquiri. Might work with a more subtle rum as well.
- Made with Smith & Cross. Simple and easy to make and little to complain about.
- Kerala — Trinidad rum, Bourbon, Bitters, Peychaud's Bitters, Pineapple juice, Lemon juice, Cane syrup, Cardamom
- Rum Flower — Rum, Añejo rum, Crème de Violette, Elderflower liqueur, Lemon juice, Agave syrup
- No Bananas Today — Jamaican rum, Demerara Rum, Crème de Banane, Bitters, Simple syrup, Lime juice, Banana
- Verde Temprano — Reposado Tequila, Dry vermouth, Orange liqueur, Celery bitters, Kiwi shrub
- (the) Radiator — Brandy, Crème Yvette, Falernum, Grapefruit bitters, Lime juice
Really needs to be made with honey syrup instead of straight honey.
I spent quite a bit of time stirring the honey in to get it to dissolve. Not nearly enough citrus to make the "daiquiri" label in the description really work. Nice drink though!
Good comments - I may tweak this one with more honey as a syrup and make it more "daquiri like".
